Hot Teams are an innovative approach to group collaboration and provide an effective platform for assessing technology or executing projects. The possible creation of AAWA-based Hot Teams was discussed.

It was surfaced that the USF A to Z Index was missing a number of important entries. The University Webmaster has provided two channels for units to update their information:

• email
• a form within the USF ePortal

[edit] Consolidation of IT support

Consolidation of IT support appears to be moving forward, with a large number of changes already implemented. Individual units discussed some of these changes and proposed suggestions to ease the transitions.

[edit] Google Search Appliance

The Google Search Appliance has not yet rolled out at USF. University Communications and Marketing posted a PDF with information on the process and timeline. Additionally, webmasters can stay up-to-date on the latest news by joining the USF Webmasters Network.
