Issues with URLs after launch of new USF website
- URLs published in some printed documents may not be valid due to improper/missing redirects, e.g. USF Viewbook
- new URLs may be longer than those on the previous USF website and difficult to format/size for printed documents
- use short URLs in your documents which utilize 301 redirects within your website to send users to a destination on the main USF website
- Be sure to use the Fully Qualified Domain Name when linking to a document on the top-level USF website, e.g.

Because webpages are consumed in a much different manner than printed material it’s important to know how users interact with your website. One of the chief differences between printed and web-based material is that web pages are scanned, not read.
